David Liu

Learning to Be Heard.

Ensemble, Three Mainstage Musicals · Baritone, School Choir

David Liu has been in the ensemble of the Crystal Springs Uplands School musical since January 2024, three years running: Legally Blonde, Something Rotten! and The Prom. In the weeks before a show, rehearsals run three hours or more a day. He sings baritone in the school choir, at school and at community events.

He joined as a freshman who could not finish a sentence in front of a first-grade class. He went back the next two years.

In the future, David hopes to keep a stage habit in college.
